Medlock - A Quiet Home in the Middle of the City
Originally farmland up until the 1940s, Medlock's development began in
earnest during the 1950s and 1960s with the ubiquitous styles of home,
the American Small House and the Ranch. With nearby shopping and dining
options, including Suburban Plaza and North DeKalb Mall, Medlock is
growing in popularity with retirees and young families alike.
There are several parks and recreation areas around Medlock, including
Medlock Park, the PATH, Clyde Shepherd Nature Preserve, the South
Peachtree Creek Trail, the South Fork of Peachtree Creek, and Medlock
Community Garden.
